Keeping it real…
Many people talk about keeping things real, but what happens when “the real” isn’t a mutually shared context?
True understanding is difficult without shared experience, yet emotions governed by our inherent humanity, like empathy and caring, assist us in demonstrating compassion in spite of any deficits.
Remember, the richness of life comes from diversity. Make sure you remember your compassion when there is a lack of understanding.
