Magic Mushrooms for Depression?

Just say yes!

Although the US Justice Department maintains that mushrooms have “no legitimate medical purpose” current research demonstrates Mushrooms can help reduce the restrictive state of mind and negative thinking caused by Depression.

In a recent article published in the Journal of Psychopharmacology the authors explained that people who took Mushrooms, and had a mystical experience, were more likely to exhibit certain personality changes making them more forthcoming about their feelings, more focused on being creative, curious and appreciative about artistic things and the way they perceive the world, up to 12 months after a mushroom trip!

Depression causes increased negative self perception and negative self ideation within a particularly restrictive state of mind and is thought to stem from a hyperactive posterior cingulate cortex, part of the brain that is thought to figure into consciousness and ego.
